Your Funded Account: What Changes and What Doesn't

How trading a funded account differs from trading an evaluation

An Omen Funded Account is the account you earn by passing an evaluation. It is the same size as the evaluation that earned it, and it is where you actually get paid.

You can also receive one without trading an evaluation, by purchasing Instant Funding at activation. Aside from eligibility for the evaluation fee refund, the two are governed by identical rules.

What changes

  • You can withdraw. Profits above the Safety Net floor can be withdrawn on demand, 24/7. See Withdrawal Rules.

  • There is no profit goal. Nothing to reach and nothing to pass. You trade and withdraw.

  • There is no time limit. A funded account has no expiration date. It closes only if you breach its loss limit or another rule, or once you reach one of its lifetime withdrawal limits.

  • Your balance resets. The account starts at its original size, and your loss limit and drawdown reset to their starting values. Profit from the evaluation does not carry over.

What stays the same

Limits on a funded account

Two limits apply to a funded account over its lifetime: a maximum total withdrawal amount equal to 30% of the account's funding amount, and a maximum of 10 withdrawals. Reaching either one closes that account. This is the successful end of the account's lifecycle, not a breach. See Lifetime Withdrawal Limits.

If you breach a funded account

Breaching the loss limit closes the funded account immediately. This does not affect your other evaluations or funded accounts, your Omen Credit Balance, or your ability to purchase new evaluations.
