Evaluation Period & Funded Account Activation

How long the evaluation lasts and what happens when you pass

There are two activation steps in the Omen Funded Trading Program: activating your evaluation before you can trade it, and activating your funded account once you pass.

Activating your evaluation

Purchasing an evaluation does not start it. You must activate the evaluation before you can place any trades, and the 30-day evaluation period begins at activation, not at purchase. Nothing counts against your 30 days until you're ready to trade.

There is currently no deadline to activate an evaluation. An evaluation you have purchased will wait until you activate it.

When you begin activation, you'll be offered the option to purchase Instant Funding, which skips the evaluation entirely and gives you a funded account immediately. If you take it, you can also add Safety Net Removal at that point, if you didn't already purchase it with your evaluation.

Both are optional. If you decline them, activation proceeds normally and your evaluation begins.

The evaluation period

Each Omen Evaluation runs for a period of 30 days from activation. If you have not reached your profit goal by the end of that period, the evaluation expires and closes permanently. See What Happens If I Fail or My Evaluation Expires?.

Activating your funded account

If you successfully pass the evaluation, you will have 7 days to activate your Omen Funded Account. If you do not activate your account within that 7-day window, the right to activate is forfeited and cannot be restored.

Activation requires completing a background check and signing the Funding Agreement. See Post-Evaluation Completion Process for the full activation flow.

Balances do not carry over

The balance from your evaluation will not carry over to your funded account. Your funded account starts at the original size of the evaluation — a $10,000 evaluation produces a $10,000 funded account, regardless of how much profit you made while passing. Your loss limit and drawdown also reset to their starting values.

Funded accounts have no deadline

Unlike evaluations, funded accounts have no time limit. Once activated, a funded account stays open until you breach one of its rules. See Your Funded Account.
