Algorithmic Trading and API Access

Why automated trading and API access are not permitted

All trading on Omen must be placed manually by you, through the official Omen web or iOS app.

Omen does not offer a public API, and API access of any kind is not permitted. This includes automated or algorithmic trading in any form — bots, scripts, browser automation, third-party trading tools, signal-following services, and any other method of placing or managing orders without a person acting on each one.

Why the rule exists

An evaluation is an assessment of your trading skill, and a funded account is an extension of the trust that assessment establishes. Automated systems also generate order volume that the underlying Polymarket markets are not able to absorb, which degrades pricing for every trader on the platform.

Consequences

Accounts found to be using API access or automated trading may be made ineligible for funded account or Omen Credit Balance withdrawals, and may be closed. Unlike a loss limit breach, which affects only the account that breached, enforcement here can apply across every evaluation and funded account you hold.

If you are unsure

If you use a tool that interacts with your Omen account in any way and you are not certain whether it is permitted, ask before you use it. See How to Contact Support.

Planning ahead? API access and automated trading are not on the roadmap at this time. If that changes, it will be announced in the Omen Discord and documented here.
