Avoiding Scams and Impersonators

How to tell what's official and what isn't

In Discord

Only accounts carrying the @Omen Staff role are official. Those with the @Support role but not the @Omen Staff role are community members that are familiar with the platform and can also help answer questions, but do not represent or work for Omen. Check the role before trusting anyone claiming to represent Omen.

Staff will never DM you first, and will never ask you to buy wallets, tokens, or accounts. Any DM offering to sell you a funded account, an evaluation, a "guaranteed pass," or access to the platform is a scam. Ignore it and report it in the server.

Official access points

There is a separate app on the App Store called "Omen: Prediction Markets," published by Omen Trading, Inc. (omen.trading). It is a different company and is not affiliated with us. See Official Omen Apps.

Protect yourself

  • Never share your login code, wallet seed phrase, or private keys with anyone, for any reason.

  • Never send funds to an individual claiming to be staff. Omen only takes payment through checkout in the app.

  • Verify links before clicking. Official Omen domains end in omen.trade.

If you believe you've been targeted, report it in Discord and open a ticket. See How to Contact Support.
